SEPC Drives Promotion of Reinvented Roadshow Educational Program

Millen, GA (April 12, 2018) – The Southeast Produce Council is hitting the road in June as it reinvigorates its roadshow program from years past to provide foodservice members with an educational opportunity in which they will gain insight into trends and best practices within the foodservice sector; thus, creating the RECIPE Roadshow (Regional Education of Culinary Information for Produce Executives).

Education is one of the four pillars of the Southeast Produce Council, who strives to provide quality educational programs to its members throughout the year, and this innovative program aims to achieve that goal, as well. Taking place at the Atlanta Farmers Market on Wednesday, June 13^th, the SEPC’s RECIPE Roadshow has a packed agenda for foodservice members, including chef demos from member companies’ top chefs and produce presentations from industry experts.

“We are very excited to get back on the road again with our RECIPE Roadshow and provide a regional, education-centered seminar for the foodservice sector and the end users. We see a huge need to help prepare our members and their customers on proper handling techniques and product trends that affect their business,” said David Sherrod, President and CEO of the Southeast Produce Council.
